Merger of Practices: Forest Health Group & Boundary House Surgery

The partners of Boundary House Surgery and Forest Health Group are excited to announce a merger between the two practices.

The merger aims to provide greater stability, resilience and an enhanced level of care for patients.

We anticipate this taking place on 1st April 2018. The increasing pressure in general practice, widespread cuts in central funding, and difficulties in employing GPs and practice nurses, is having a major impact on smaller practices. This comes at a time when there is an ever increasing demand for appointments as Bracknell grows.

Merging our practices is a positive move and one we feel is right to protect and enhance patient services and ensure future viability.

With a greater number of staff and skill-mix of doctors, nurses and other health care professionals, we hope that patients of both practices will have access to a wider range of medical services closer to home.

For more information, please see this Merger of Practices Newsletter.

Practice Merger Public Consultation Drop In Sessions

Patients of both practices are invited to consultation drop-in sessions where GP representatives from both practices will be able to answer any queries and concerns about the proposed merger. We thank patients who have already given us feedback and hope to answer all of these questions and more at these sessions. We look forward to seeing you then.
