Global IT outages affecting access to medical systems
Crowdstrike Update 09:45 Mon 22/07/24:
Our clinical systems now appear to be working well. We have a significant administrative backlog from Friday which we will be working on. Reporting on pathology (blood test etc) results, as well as scanning and dealing with correspondence from specialists will take a little longer this week. We anticipate to be back to ‘business as usual’ by Wednesday or Thursday.
We will also be looking to improve our business continuity plans for future IT outages or other emergencies that might affect business continuity.
Thank you for your ongoing patience and support.

UPDATE 4pm Fri 19/07/24: The IT outage is still ongoing. For this reason, we have taken the decision to close our Bagshot Road site. For now, our Mount Lane site will remain open with reduced staffing until 6pm, and County Lane site will remain open with reduced staffing until 5:30pm.
Due to global IT outages being experienced today, we are unable to access our medical systems. Patients with appointments today can still attend, but some types of appointments may have to be rebooked due to clinical safety issues. These appointments include immunisations and other injections.
Please note we have no access to prescriptions, test results, letters or medical records. If your query can wait until these issues are resolved we would appreciate you contacting us later today or next week. We will update this message as we hear more.
Thank you for bearing with us
